Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz shots espresso
  • 6 oz fresh half-and-half
  • 1 tablespoon flavored syrup (Optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg (Optional)

  • Milk steaming pitcher
  • Steam wand or electric milk frother

Method
 

  1. Preheat your 12 oz coffee cup with hot water
  2. Pull 2 shots of fresh espresso using medium-dark roast beans
  3. Pour cold half-and-half into steaming pitcher
  4. Steam half-and-half to 155-160°F creating velvety microfoam
  5. Empty preheated cup and pour espresso first
  6. Slowly add steamed half-and-half from 2 inches height
  7. Top with foam and optional spices
  8. Serve immediately while hot
